Monitor newborn calves and nursing mothers. Isolate sick calves. Feed livestock during snowy/subfreezing periods when no seasonal pasturelands remain available for them to naturally graze upon. Add dry bedding. Remove snow from farm property. Break ice formation in water tanks daily. Maintain, clean, and repair winter pens. Move cattle to and from summer grazing pastures. Monitor livestock on pasturelands. Fix and repair fencing. Wean all livestock during the livestock weaning season.
