Temporary, seasonal workers needed for crawfish farm. Job duties include crawfishing in boats; catching crawfish; performing crawfishing duties in fields; operating crawfish boats; manually cutting up of fish bait; placing, bating, and checking traps; grade/wash crawfish; repair/maintain traps as needed; load/unload trucks. Must be able to lift 50lbs.; random drug screening upon hire (paid for by Employer), testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination of employment. Job involves frequent stooping, repetitive movements, extensive walking, and exposure to extreme temperatures; and extensive pushing or pulling. Must have three (3) months experience in similar occupation. Overtime hours may be offered and hours vary. Higher wages may be paid based on experience. Daily work schedule includes one (1) unpaid lunch hour. Local travel between worksites in St. Landry and Rapides Parishes, LA required.
