Crawfishing in boats; performing crawfish duties in fields; operate small motorized boats or push boats; manually cutting up of fish bait; bait/set/check traps; grade/wash crawfish for shipment; load/unload trucks; transport crawfish shipments to customers; operate farm equipment and vehicles; maintain field levees and roads; cut grass; water maintenance; manual shovel work; hoe weeds; spot spray; maintain buildings/equipment/fences. Job involves frequent stooping and exposure to extreme temps. Must be able to lift and carry sufficient weight to lift, carry and move equipment, crawfish sacks, and material necessary to complete assigned tasks. The Employer will rely on workers’ own representations and observations of workers to assess if the workers meet this qualification. Random drug screening upon hire (paid for by Employer). Base hours offered is 35 hours; additional hours are usually offered during a plentiful season and may include 10-40 additional hours of work depending on the nature of the season.
