Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and experience to determine the root cause of malfunctions. - Adjust and Calibrate Machinery: Fine-tune machinery settings and components to ensure optimal performance, including adjusting hydraulic systems, electrical wiring, and mechanical linkages. - Repair and Replace Components: Conduct repairs or replace defective parts on a variety of equipment, such as vehicles, trucks, trailers, tractors, harvest machines, harvest trailers, pumps, water booster pumps, and other specialized agricultural machinery. Troubleshoot leaks, clogs, and pressure issues to ensure consistent water delivery. - Steering and Suspension Repairs: Diagnose and repair steering systems and suspension components to maintain vehicle and equipment stability and performance. - Shop Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized workspace by regularly cleaning tools, equipment, and work surfaces. Dispose of waste materials appropriately and ensure compliance with safety standards. - Equipment Cleaning and Upkeep: Clean and detail farm equipment to remove dirt, debris, and residue, ensuring that machinery is in top condition and ready for use. May be asked to drive company vehicles and workers.
