Non-CDL farm trucks will be loaded with agricultural products and driven on the farm and to storage facilities. Manual duties include adjusting the speed of cutters, blowers, conveyors, and height of cutting heads; performing daily, pre-work checks on oil, tires, fuel, and performing necessary maintenance; using hand tools; changing cutting heads as appropriate for crops; performing mechanical repair, maintenance, and regular service of machinery; blowing out radiators when temperatures rise; pressure washing equipment; tire cutting, moving, and changing while machines are in fields; performing general maintenance, repairs and/or clean-up of storage sheds, buildings, and all farm equipment; ensuring operational areas are organized and well maintained; using hand tools and equipment to repair, clean and maintain farm vehicles, machinery and specialized machinery and agricultural equipment; regularly servicing equipment; removing rocks from fields; and lifting items as needed. There are few typical days and workers may be required to change duties and/or locations often and engage in various general functions.
