Workers may be required to assist in several different farm tasks during crawfish season, including crawfishing. Workers will also be required to walk/ride the fields to check water levels. Workers will also work in crawfish fields by pushing small a crawfish boat and/or running a small motorized crawfish boat; emptying and bating traps for the next day; cleaning and preparing crawfish boats each day when fishing; loading and unloading sacks of crawfish that that weigh up to 45 pounds; and preparing the artificial or cut fish bait each day for the next day (bait boxes may weigh up to 75lbs.). May earn bonuses based on performance at the discretion of employer.
