Cleaner in Arkansas: licence, certification and what employers require (2026)

Arkansas does not license cleaners: no licence. This page says what a cleaner licensed or working in another state has to do to work in Arkansas, in the order to do it, and what goes wrong when the order is reversed.

How the transfer works

Nothing is licensed; cleaning and janitorial work in Arkansas is hired on availability and record. A background check is standard for schools and hospitals.
