Seasonal Job Statement – Sheep Shearer (10-Month Position) We are seeking seasonal agricultural workers to assist with both farm and ranch fence installation and sheep shearing over a ten-month employment period. This is a temporary, full-time position requiring physical labor in an outdoor rural setting. Sheep Shearing: Workers will shear wool from live sheep using hand shears or power-driven clippers. Duties include Leading sheep to and from pens and shearing stations. Maintaining clean, organized shearing areas Oiling and sharpening shearing equipment (tools provided at no cost) Safely handling animals throughout the shearing process Must be able to perform shearing duties Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Capable of performing physically demanding tasks for extended periods Willingness to follow safety protocols and instructions from supervisors.
